Hangeuk Taekwondo

Last week, I started taking Taekwondo and I finally got my dobo. Here I am sporting it. I would have done a cool pose or something but I can't actually remember any...plus I took this photo with a self-timed camera and this was the best I could get.

Lessons have been going well. It's 1 hour every night and I don't go Mondays because that's when I work at the orphanage. It's a pretty good stretch and workout. Most nights, though, I get pretty scared that my teacher is going to stand on my back when im stretching like he does to the other students. They made a girl cry last week. One teacher had one leg, one had the other and they were stretching her...it was scary. Luckily, I'm pretty flexible......so if i can already put my face on the floor, there's no need to make me cry, right?

You look very cool in your dobo thing. Maybe you could find one of those old korean jedi master dudes and have him teach you how to chop down a tree with your leg like Jean Claude in that movie.
Seriously, I think it's great your doing this and have fun.
